Yoga is a scientific system of physical and mental practices that originated in India more than Five thousand years ago and probably more. Its purpose is to help each one of us achieve our highest potential and to experience enduring health and happiness. To achieve a happy, balanced and useful life, each one of us must link the body, mind and breath together.
My Yoga classes will explore the basic poses and values of yoga. Movements will involve balance, strength, flexibility and proper breathing techniques. However, no skill level or flexibility is required for students who want to begin taking yoga. Yoga is for everyone weather it’s in a chair or you need blocks. Yoga can only give out a positive response if you listen to your own body and remember to slow down (It’s non competitive ). Your body has a lot of wisdom if your willing to listen. I tend to work with the chakras, energy centres. My yoga will be a little different as it will be practised outside or in my Rainbow Tent. Depending on weather. My classes will be starting May 2019, although I teach individuals.
